Our Wilmington, Delaware Office is Now Open!
Children’s Dental Health, the leading regional provider of pediatric dental care and largest pediatric dental practice in Pennsylvania, will open its newest location in Wilmington, Delaware at 3301 Lancaster Pike within the Cannery Shopping Center. The new Wilmington office is accepting new patients and will officially begin providing treatment on Friday, March 8th.
“It’s a tremendous privilege for us to provide pediatric dental services to the children of Wilmington in this stunning new facility,” said Dr. Anthony Monteiro, D.M.D., the office’s primary pediatric dentist. “Instilling proper dental health habits at an early age is vital to creating lifelong healthy habits, and we can’t wait to share our knowledge with our patients and their parents.”
In the new Wilmington, DE pediatric dental office, parents can expect a kid-friendly environment that includes:
- A kid’s corner featuring movies, iPads, books, and toys
- Individualized treatment plans and customized appointments for younger children and those with special needs
- Pre-appointment office tours for new patients and their families to ease their minds and have the opportunity to meet with dental staff to discuss any concerns
Early childhood tooth decay is now the most common chronic early childhood disease in the United States – five times more common than asthma according to a recent study shared by the American Academy of Pediatrics. In addition to being highly prevalent, tooth decay often goes untreated for children ages three and under.
Children’s Dental Health stresses the importance of establishing a dental home for children by their first birthday or by the appearance of their first tooth for preventive and affordable treatment options.
